What I found...

Yesterday I was driving over to Jens house. When I went to get Ella out of the car this is what I found....

Translation: Don't touch or pull down your bows!

5 Week Check Up

Little Miss Ella had her 5 week check up today. Dr Maufoud said she is looking perfect! Her stats are :

Weight: 8lbs 8 oz

Height 21 inches long

Yes my little chunky monkey is growing up so fast!!!! Just last friday she was 7lbs 14 oz and now shes 8 pounds! So I thought I would post some pictures of her on her 5 week birthday!

On a side note:

My sister steph got a new camera for her photography business so she is letting me "borrow" her old camera. So I was testing out the camera.... and Ella loved it! So these pictures are from our little photo session!

Are you kidding me?!?!

Ok so Im going to try this "Are you kidding me" thing.... My little episode has to do with my lovely little princess Ella. So as most know Nick started working at the jails last night. Yes he has the night shift. So this morning when it was time for me and ella to get up, it was time for nick to continue to sleep. We were trying to be as quiet as possible while we were getting ready. That didnt go as planned. Ella decided, AFTER i had already changed her diaper, to poop her pants. Well when she poops it is NOT so quiet. All I heard was the rumbling mess she was making in her diaper. So i quickly changed her, thinking she was done, as I was trying not to laugh. So on goes a clean diaper. I put her little outfit on and finished up with a cute bow. That took about a minute to do. All ready to go my little princess decided she was NOT done pooping!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! Again I hear the loud rumbling mess going on in her pants. It was so much that it was going up her back (all us moms know how that goes)!!! Seriously it was so loud that it woke nick up!!! I kid you not!! Nick and I laughed so much because we just couldnt believe how loud and how much a little person can poop! So much for us trying to not wake up daddy!!!! So yes this morning i changed her diaper 3 times in the matter of five minutes!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I guess i need to make sure my princess is done pooping before i change her!

Happy 1 Month Birthday

So last friday was Ella's 1 Month Birthday! Nick and I cant believe how much she has changed in just one month!!! We started our morning out by going to the lactation place. I wanted to see how much she weighed and i wanted to see how much she has been drinking. She was weighing in 7lbs 14 oz and she drank 5 and a half ounces!!! Granted it had been 5 and a half hours since her last feeding... but geesh... my baby is turning into a chunky monkey!! Then we headed off to have lunch G-Pa, Aunty Steph, Uncle Greg and Ali Lu! Then we spent the night with the Deluca Family. Thank you everyone who made this day so special for Ella!!

Visiting Jens Class

So Jen has been working summer school and she takes her class on a ton of outtings! From the movies to the beach to local stores. Last wednesday she took her class to El Prado Park. So Ella and i got ready and headed over to the park. There we meet Jen, her class, Steph and Ali. This is was her first time at the park... of course she slept the whole time!

Going on our first walk

So last tuesday (i know I am that far behind!!) Nick and I took Ella on walk with the dogs! We took our normal path and walked over to Johnny and Krissy's House. Of course we needed to go visit Baby Austin! Ella was a little fussy so i put her in the stroller and with in seconds she calmed down and was asleep before the walk even started! She loves to go on walks aparently!

Congrats to the Stevens Family

My good friend Derek's sister, Corinne and her husband Chris, welcomed 3 healthy babies yesterday!!! They have been updating her blog for her and they say the triplets are doing great! Please pray for a fast recovery for Corinne! Congratulations to the Stevens family and their 3 babies (Kendra, Chole and Kai)!

Thanks to my wonderful sister and Ella's aunty..... G & M Images did an AMAZING job on Ella's 2 week pictures!!!! Nick and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how all the photos turned out!!! I wish I could post all of them... but for now these will have to do (I Know these are a lot but I couldnt decide between them!!) I needed all of them on her!!!! Thank you Steph for all your hard work!!!

So this is what she does all day.... SLEEP!!!! She does wake to eat and take a bath... other than that she loves to sleep!

They LITERALLY both put their arms over their head.... I came around the corner and saw this! I thought this was adorable!!!! She is just like her dad!!

She managed to get the blanket over her face... she said "Dont bug me!!!"

She loves sleeping with her arm under her face... Soo cute!!

2 Week Check Up

So I took little Miss Ella to see her doctor yesterday for her 2 week check up. Here are check ups....

Birth Weight: 6lbs 2 ounces

Current Weight: 6lb 14 ounces

Height: 19 Inches long

Current Height: 20 and two thirds Inches

The dr measured her head and said that she is growing perfectly! He told me to keep up the good work! My little girl is already getting so big!!!!

1st Trip to the Bowling Alley

We decided to go bowling the other day with some friends. Daddy loves bowling and Mommy thinks she can beat daddy... (shes not all that great at this sport)! We had a great time even though Nick beat me every game!!!

Graduation from the Academy

FINALLY.... 24 weeks later.... Nick has graduated from the Riverside Sheriffs Academy!!! He did an awesome job throughtout the whole academy. He ended up finishing 7th overall and was selected to be Class President of Class 179! We are all so proud of him!!!! He has jail training for the next 2 weeks then he will start his assignment. We are lucky enough to have him close to home since he will just be working about 15 minutes away from the house at Robert Presely Detention Center (RPDC). We are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives! Please pray that Nick stays safe in the jails! I know Nick has some guardian angels that will be looking over him as he starts his career in law enforcement!!! I will try to post a picture but im not sure the rules they have about posting pictures of them in their uniforms.

Happy 4th of July

We started our holiday out by watching and cheering daddy on at a wiffle ball tournament. He didnt win but we definitely enjoyed it. Then we headed on over to nana and papas house to visit with them a little. Then we went to Aunty Steph's and Uncle Greg's house. There we had a wonderful dinner of steak, corn on the cob, snicker doodle salad, bread and twice baked potatoes. It was delicious!!!! We then took some snap shoots of my little sparkler and then enjoyed some fireworks. Ella did a great job during the fireworks considering she slept right through them!!! Then off to bed we went. We were exhausted!!!! I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday!!!! Thank you to all the ones who have served and who is still serving to protect our country!!!
