My nina came to see her family this weekend (again for her daughters briday shower)!! It was so good to see the millers!!! We miss them!!!!

Dr Visit Update/ Belly Pictures

So today Nick and I went to the doctors for our 26 week appoinment. It went really good. Dr. Williams measured my tummy and said I am measuring out to 26 weeks exactly. The heart beat sounded amazing (like usual)! And the most important question of the day was "how much did I gain????" So the verdict is.... I only, yes ONLY gained 2 and a half pounds!!!! Whewwww... I thought I would have gained like 10 since this baby has been craving sugar stuff and I look like a house!!! Anywho... the doctor wants to see me in another 4 weeks, which will be at week 30, and I will have to take a glucose test (they say its normal to check for diabetes). So my hubby better hold my hand while they poke me and take my blood! I am also posting my belly pictures of week 25 and 26! So enjoy the fat baby belly!!!

Deniece's Bridal Shower

So my cousin and nina came down this past weekend so we can celebrate this wonderful event my cousin will soon experience in a few months! Yep she is getting MARRIED! We held her bridal shower at Olive Garden (YUMMY!!!)! The shower turned out so wonderful... minus stephanie forgetting the menus!! Poor steph! Here are a few pictures of her!

Embarrassing Confession!

I have to say that I am a pretty good cook. I love to make any sort of pasta, ie. spaghetti, manicotti, fettuccini alfredo and even homemade lasagna. I also love to cook banana tacos (yum!), burritos, nachos, chicken parmagian and many more dishes! However, it was brought to my attention on friday, by my wonderful husband, that i do NOT know how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich... (keep reading because this is NOT the embarrassing confession). When i get up at 430am every morning I get up to make him breakfast and his lunch. For lunch I usually make a pb and j sandwich, chips, and 2 different kinds of fruits. Now remember that it is 430AM, which means, I am still half asleep. So basically i would put peanut butter on one slice of bread and then I put the jelly ontop of the peanut butter. So when my husband so kindly banned me from making him anymore pb and j sandwiches, he proceeded to tell me how to make a good pb and j sandwich.... peanut butter on one slice of bread and jelly on the other side. So I begged him to not ban me from making him a pb and j sandwich (its the easiest thing to make that early in the morning!) So he graceiously gave me another chance. So I made one this morning and guess what.... he SAID it was a GREAT sandwich!!!! How wonderful huh?!?!?! So heres where the embarrassing confession comes into play.... I told him I would try something new for his lunch. So i came up with the idea of making him a deviled egg sandwich (thats what my mom used to make my dad)... some just call it an egg sandwich... anywho..... So I knew I was supposed to boil eggs and then once ready peel the shell off, mix it with mayo, and i added some salt and some pepper. So i get all the ingredients out and just stand there. It dawned on me that I have NEVER boiled an egg before! Are you kidding me!!!! So I apparently did it completely backwards... I first put water in the pan and i boiled the water. Once it was boiled I tried to carefully put the eggs in the pan. Ugh... each one cracked because the water was so hot i had to be careful NOT to touch the boiling water so the eggs fell into the pan which resulted in cracked eggs!!! How do I NOT know how to boil eggs!!!! That is sooooo embarrassing!!!! Nick even looked it up for me... apparently i put water in the pan, add the eggs and then bring to a boil... opps.... maybe next time ill get it right! I managed to save the eggs (i think) and I made the egg sandwich. Ill let you know how the sandwich turns out tomorrow when he gets home.... lets just hope after a bad start it will end on a good note! Im so pathetic... who doesnt know how to boil and EGG or make a pb and j sandwich!!!!!! EMBARRASSING!!!!!!!

Ok so I know I have been totally lagging in the posting department. I have been extremely tired... i dont know maybe because this kid is up kicking me till the late hours of the night! And I have been having to get up to go pee EVERY 2 hours!!! NO LIE!!!!!!!! I swear Im going to ask the dr to cathe me so I can sleep peacefully! Just kidding... I think with having to get up every two hours right now might prepare me for how many times I will have to be getting up with the baby when she gets here! So today I will posting week 22, 23 and 24 pictures of my big budha belly! I will even post a picture of my body so you can see how tired I am in the face! We Registered!!!

We finally registered for the baby at Babies R Us last night! I was so excited we were going.... but then when we got there... that was a completely different story!!! There was so much stuff to look at!!! Our first stop was the bottle section... yep i had to skip that section because there were seriously like 500 different ones! Ugh who would have thought! We were there about 3 hours and we definitely are not done! we registered for all the big things but need to still go back and register for all the little things that we just couldn't decide on. So not only was it overwhelming but man Nick wanted a say in EVERYTHING!!!! I know he's the dad but geeze..... i wanted everything pink and apparently he didnt! I am trying to convince him that we need to have a pink diaper bag... and he is so against carrying a pink diaper bag around! I swear I'm gonna convince him! The only big things we need to decide on still is the crib, changing table and dresser! Ill update you all when we finish registering!! And I will also be posting later tonight week 23 and week 24 pictures! Yep i can't believe that I am 6 months already! only 16 more weeks to go!

Dancing with the Stars

So i hardly ever watch the first episode of dancing with the stars. I usually wait till have way through and then start watching it. But last night I just HAD to stay up and watch Melissa dance!! I have to say with only 48 hours to learn the dance I think she did an amazing job! I also loved how the audience BOO'D Jason as they showed a clip of the After the Final Rose episode! There were a lot of really good competitors... and some not so good! But it was funny to watch. Lets just say I have my pick on who is going to win this years Dancing with the Stars.

Spring Time

I love spring!!! the weather starts warming up, flowers start blooming and it means that we are that much closer to the baby being here!! However, the one thing i HATE and let me say it again... HATE... about spring time is the time change!!!!!! Spring forward.... who does that!!!! Jen and I had to be at work at 640am this morning... and man was it dark outside!!!!! I like waking up with the sun shinning through my window!!!

Im just speechless!

If you didnt watch the Bachelor last night then DONT READ!!!!!!! But I am completely shocked with what Jason did to Melissa!!!! Who does that! I have lost all respect for that guy. Dont get me wrong.... I am not mad that they didnt make it as a couple BUT how could he break the engagement off on NATIONAL TELEVISION!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Visit

Well it was our 22nd week dr visit today. We meet our new doctor .... Dr. Williams. Both nick and I felt very comfortable with him and trust that he will be a great doctor for the remainder of the pregnancy and through the birth of our "nameless" baby girl. Everything measured out great and the anatomy scan looks absolutely normal. He had no concerns at all. I did gain a few lbs this time.... thats right ive gained 10lbs from start to 5.5 months. Yikes i think i need to lay off the fondue!!!! hahahaha!

Fondue Time!

So I was craving fondue this weekend so my wonderful husband said we can make it a dessert date! So Jen, my neighbors, Nick and I decided on what we wanted to fondue! On the menu was Marshmellos, Graham Crackers, Gummy Bears, Cookies, Strawberrries, and Bananas!! (Good thing I wasnt on a diet!!!) OHH was it DELICIOUS!!!!! My craving was satisfied!!!! Lets justs hope the scale at the doctors office tomorrow doesnt say I gained 10 lbs!!!!!
