23 and 24 Weeks

23 Weeks: Sleeping... getting so long!

Someone was busy....

I put Ella in bed to go night night.... she fussed for like a second and then i heard nothing.... so about 30 minutes later i went in the check on her and apparently she was a little busy... sleeping.... NOT... she decided that she didn't want her PIAS (pacifiers) in her bed! So she decided to toss them out! Ha ha ha! Silly girl!!

Then she decided to take her he blanket off her bed (it was draped over her crib) and get all tangled up in it! There was a spot on her face that was open so she was good... But that was the LAST time i draped her blanket over her crib!! My silly girl is starting to get into everything!!!!!

Visit with Santa

Ella had a blast visting with santa!! Im sure next year will be a different story! But as for this year she was all smiles!

Eating Cereal for the First time!

Her doctor told me NOT to start her on rice cereal until her 6 month birthday.... but mommy did not listen! We cheated!! he he he... Ella has totally been eyeing food and actually trying to grab and eat it! So tonight we thought we would try cereal... She LOVED it... go figure!

She even wanted to eat the bowl!! Silly girl!

Finally Sleeping on Her Tummy...

I ALWAYS put Ella on her back when I put her to bed... But this night was different... I saw her trying to do a big girl thing.... watch and see my big girl roll over from her back to tummy (this is the first time EVER)!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I can NOT believe that we did not get a family picture on Ella's first Thanksgiving!!! Well it was kind of hectic... We started out morning off with Nick getting home from work at 7am. We talked and played with Ella for just a few minutes before daddy went to bed. While daddy was sleeping, Ella and I hung out with Grandpa (Nick's Dad). Her Grandpa just loves her! The three of us hung out and then went to the grocery store so I could grab a few things for Nicks lunch. We then went back to the house to get ready. As a family we headed over to my Grandma's house. Daddy was able to hang out for about an hour (long enough to eat some turkey dinner) before he had to leave for work =( Once daddy headed off to work Ella and I drove over to Grammies (nicks grandma) house where we visited with Grammie, Donna and Aunty Karla (it was the first time Ella meet Aunty Karla) Then... I know it didn't end there.... we headed over to Dana's house (stephanies sister in laws)..... then we spent the night at Stephanie and Greg's house... yes mommy and aunty and uncle and auny laurie all went shopping at 4am!!! Dont worry I DID NOT take Ella out.... thankfully we had Sammie who stayed there and watched the girls! UGH it was such a LONG day!!! So since we didnt get a family picture i at least got a few of Ella!!

Nick and I are so THANKFUL for everything we have!! WE are most thankfully for this beautiful angel that was sent to us for the Lord above! We are also thankful for our health and wish everyone else a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Last Day for Daddy....

After a few months of contemplating, Nick and I decided to end his marine time... So we went down to San Diego to sign him out of the Marines and put him in the Inactive Reserves. He was going to try to do the Active Reserves but the people in charge of his paperwork were giving him the run around and it didn't seem like they had their act together so we ended his 8 year term! Daddy had to be dressed in uniform to check out so Ella got to take a picture with her number 1 HERO!!!

Getting Ella's Ears Pierced!

Ella finally got her ears pierced!!!!!!!!! When we were at her 4 month appointment her mean mean mommy decided not only was she going to get her 4 month shots but she was going to get her ears pierced! I felt super comfortable getting them done at her dr's office! Her stats are:

Weight 13 lbs 5 ounces

Height: 24 Inches

The dr was EXTREMELY impressed with how strong Ella was! Everything checked out great!!! So after she was checked out we proceeded with her ears getting pierced... here's how it turned out....

New Jumper

My Cousin Aniessa got Ella her door jumper for our baby shower... it says 4 months and up but nick and I thought well shes almost 4 months lets try it and see if she likes it. The only problem is the only door it can hang on is in my pantry!!!!! oh well I can put her there while i cook!

Oh and she can nap here too!! ha ha ha... silly girl feel asleep!

15 Weeks

This past weekend was Ella's 15 week birthday! She is now smiling and talking so much!!!!! She is loving her new jumper that we hang in the door (ill post that picture next!) She is drooling so much lets just hope she isnt teething already!!!She has the sweetiest little personality and she continues to melt our hearts every day!!!!

14 Weeks

Ella and I had a special dinner date on her 14 week Birthday with my great friend Katie! It was so great spending time and catching up with eachother! We talked all night that we even shut Panera Bread down! It was also very special because Katie got to meet Ella for the first time!!!! We are so blessed to have such an amazing person in our lives!!! We love you Katie!

She is getting so big it makes me so sad!

Dont mind how aweful I look here... i had a 102.6 that night!! Yes i got that damn boob infection.. ugh.. just plain aweful!
