Baby Names...

UGH!!!! I can't find a name for the baby! My poor baby is going to be nameless!!!! Ok so I added a poll on the right side of a bunch of girl names that nick and I have thrown out. Some i dont like and some he doesnt like. Needless to say we would love to hear your thoughts. Let us know what you all think!!!

Kicking or Punching??

So i was awoken this morning at 530am with something I have never felt before! I have been feeling her move around on the inside but nothing on the outside. Poor Nick has been dying to feel her kick on the outside! Well at 530am she was either kicking or punching me on the left side of my stomach! It was the weirdest feeling!!! I was so excited that it brought a huge smile to my face! Then I told her "ok now go back to sleep I still have 45 minutes to sleep!" hahaha! Nick is going to be so excited that I know he will not take his hand off my tummy until he feels her!

Baby Update

So as I posted in my last post my tummy has been bothering me. And I was sure it was dairy, but after talking to my doctors office yesterday they came to the conclusion that it was my prenatal vitamins that was causing all my painful stomach aches! Apparently the ones that they perscribed to me had an additive stool softner!!!!! Who does that!?!?! So needless to say, they told me to stop taking those and they will prescribe me a new prenatal vitamin with OUT a stool softner in it!! Ok and I as promised I am posting my 20 and 21 week belly pictures!!! Im getting to be huge like a house!!!! Enjoy!

Week #21

Lacking in the posting department...

Sorry friends and family..... I have totally been lacking in the posting department these last couple of days! I have been a little sick. My tummy has been hurting a lot these last couple days. It seems like it only hurts after I eat. I'm trying to figure out what is causing the stomach aches! And I'm thinking it is dairy! Im not 100 percent sure but I have a feeling that is what is causing the pains. I swear she better not being picky with food already!!!!!!!!!! I will be posting my 20 week and 21 week pictures later tonight or tomorrow! I cant believe that I am 21 weeks! I was talking to this lady last night at my cousins pageant and she asked "How far along are you?" And I replied with " I'm 5 Months.. well actually 21 weeks!" And she replied with "Yea right! There is no way.... you are way tiny!" So I simply smiled and said "Aww Thanks"..... Some people are just too kind! Too bad I feel like a house already!!!!

Happy Valentines Day!

I wanted to start off by saying I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines!!! Nick and I celebrated Valentines Day on Friday night when he got home from work. We went to our favorite restaurant the Olive Garden! Our good friends Krissy and Johnny joined us! It was so relaxing and we ate a lot of food! Nick and I then came home and fell asleep watching TV. Yes we are trying to get as much sleep in before the baby gets here! We slept from 930pm till 930am the next morning! On Valentines Day we ran errands all day long! I was exhausted!!! So for dinner we had a romantice dinner eating Costco Pizza! You can never go wrong with Costco pizza!!! Then we headed up to Stephanie and Big Greg's house to join them and their friends Steve and Mandi! We had some delicious brownies and ice cream and enjoyed a fabulous game of "Balderdash!" Lets just say it was a game that was 2 hours long with non stop lauging... i mean laughing so hard that i had tears coming down my face!!!! Anyone know what a Mehari is??? hahahaha! Valentines day was the best just hanging out with Nick and people we love!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful day!!!!

Sunday was another relaxing day! We had an ultra sound appointment that the dr checked out the baby and took measurements of her head, waist, length, arms and legs! She was showing off when the dr was checking her out. She was moving everywhere!! Oh and lets not forget that the whole time she was moving around she was sucking on her thumb! Ut-oh thats not a good sign!!!

We then headed over to Baby's R Us with Nicks parents (Nana and Papa)! And of course they spoiled her and bought her a few Duckie outfits and a Duckie Toy.. (if you know Nana she LOVES ducks!!!) And then off to a wonderful lunch at Northwoods Inn! Thanks Donna and Gordon for a wonderful afternoon!!!

And to finish the weekend off.... we cleaned the house, made dinner and now are laying in bed with a glass of milk and some chocolate chip cookies! A delicious treat while we watch the Bachelor!!!!

So I came across this blog while I was on one of my pregnancy websites (twoweekwait.com). It just broke my heart to hear that this lady went into pre-term labor! She had to have a C-section at 23 weeks!!!! You can check her blog out and say some prayers for Baby KJ!!!

3 Weeks Down....

Well tomorrow will be the end of the 3rd week of nick being in the academy! only like 23 more weeks to go!!!! So far he has been having a blast!!! They physically work these men and woman throughout the day with push ups, running, sit ups, leg lifts and tons and tons of push ups!!! He has had about 2 tests a week so theres been lots of studying!! So far is average is a 95%! Thats great!!! Me, as the wonderful wife that I am... have had to adjust to so many things!! To start the day.... I get up with Nick at 415am every morning (yes i have made it every morning for 3 weeks... shocking... i know!) He gets up and gets dressed... then we go downstairs and I make him his lunch and get his breakfast all ready for him to eat! Then I sit on the couch and talk with him while he eats his breakfast! Then i help him put all his stuff in his car and kiss him goodbye. I then hop back into bed at about 5am and go back to sleep for about an hour then i get up and go to work. Then I ususally start dinner around 530 pm so that when nick gets home between 6 and 630pm dinner is on the table ready for us to eat! Then I clean the kitchen while he gets his uniform ready for the next day and then he begins to study. We are then in bed about 10pm and sleep till the alarm goes off at 415am and then we start all over again! Nick has dedicated Fridays as "Date Night"!!! Which usually consists us going to dinner and then watching a movie at home (we usually dont make it through the movie because we have been alseep by like 9pm because we are so tired!!!!!! So thats how we are doing 3 weeks into Nick being in the academy!!!

Update on Baby!

So i forgot to update my blog last week! I know im a horrible mom already!!! So me and stephanie went to my new doctors (well he was new to me but not to steph... Dr. Williams delievered Alison)! The dr said the baby looks great and I was doing well. So on february 15th I have an anatomy scan scheduled. And then I go back to the drs for my 22 week appointment on march 2nd! I am almost half way done and I am doing and feeling great!! I have started searching for the perfect bedding for the crib... ugh... its been so hard!!!!! Ok thats all i have now... ill be posting another on sunday about the baby!!!!

Continuation from last post...

As i forgot to mention in my last post, what a selfish person she is for having 6 kids and then, quoting the grandpa, "she never wished to have 8 so was hoping only for 1!" Ugh ... there are so many other people out there that would love just 1... yes just 1 baby to love and take care of and here she was being selfish as selfish gets and wanting like 100! Its such a shame to see people who would be great parents struggle through infertility and then you have these dumb asses who are SINGLE and wanting 14 kids! She knew the possible outcome of implanting 7 or 8 eggs (whatever it was) that it the chances was having multiple babies! I feel bad for all 14 of those children who probaby wont get the love and attention they all deserve! Ugh sorry no more ranting on this dumb a**!!!

Sometime I just don't get people!?!?!

Ok so, this is my opinion and many people may not agree with me.... but listening about the lady with gave birth to the 8 babies makes me so mad!!! I didnt know that all you needed to do was have 6 kids and then implant 7 too many eggs and come out in the end with 14 children to make millions of dollars!!! It makes me sick that there are so many people out there in this world struggling to make their bills, losing their homes, and being laid off from work and they just cant seem to get a job so that they arent in this situation. but this lady has 14 kids and now everyone and their mother wants to PAY her to hear her story!!! I seriously dont get it!
