9 Weeks Old!

My baby girl turned 9 weeks on friday! I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!! At 9 weeks she is now on a strict schedule! her bed time is 8:30pm and her last feeding is at 10:30pm, which allows her to sleep the whole night! Thats right... Ella sleeps the whole night! Since about 6 weeks old she was sleeping from midnight till 630am, now she is going down right after her last feeding and sleeps till 7am!!! WAAHHOOO!!! A rested mommy is a happy mommy! She takes about 4 naps a day. When she is not sleeping she loves to laugh! Anything and everything makes her laugh..especially when you talk to her!

Her neck is getting stronger and stronger everyday. She sat in her Bumbo chair for the first time all by herself!! I did have to help suport her a little with one of her favorite blankets... but its a big step up from laying on her back and tummy all the time!

She has also taken her 1st naps and many more naps in her own crib all by her self. That was definitely a sad day for mommy.... dont worry i checked on her every 2 minutes plus had the baby monitors on!! I think im going to let her start sleeping in her own room really soon!!! She continues to love being swaddled!!! She also loves to listen to her lullaby music when she sleeps! She is such a big girl now!

And by 9 weeks she has already taken her first plane ride. Thats right! She was a big girl on a big plane! We flew up to Washington about 2 weeks ago for my cousin Denience's wedding! She was an angel on the plane ride up and down! We even got a compliment from a stranger. When we landed she told me that she was very suprised that she didnt even hear a cry from Ella. And that I was very blessed. That was sweet huh!?!?! She also got to meet my god parents for the first time as well as the Wildabor family! As soon as I get all my Washington pictures I will blog about our trip to Washington!!

6, 7 and 8 weeks!

Holy cow i am so way behind on blogging! We have been so busy lately and with daddy on day shift we try and spend most of our time with him... which means... no time for the computer or blogging! Thank god for my blackberry and my access to facebook on that or else i would really be out of touch with the world! Ella is such a great baby (i know i say this all the time... but she really is!) She is growing up way too fast =(... i will post another blog later today updating you all on my princess. But for now Im posting her 6, 7 and 8 week pictures! Enjoy!

For her 6 week birthday G-Pa took us out to lunch at Bob's Big Boy... yum! I hadnt been there in forever!!! Aunty jen and Uncle Bill joined us as well!

For her 7 week birthday we were on our way to Washington! Yes I did take my 7 week old baby on her 1st plane ride!! She enjoyed every minute of it and was an angel!!!!!!

Venice Beach

We spent our time today down at Venice Beach! Our trip started out by going and visiting our cousin Erik. He took us to eat lunch at Whalers, right on the beach front. We sat upstairs so we can look out onto the beach. It was beautiful! After lunch we decided to take a walk down the famous board walk! It was definitely a site! Talk about some crazy people down there!!!! When

We decided to take the walk we realized there was a problem... we only had 1 stroller and 2 babies! and lets not mention they were BOTH ASLEEP!!!! So thanks to aunty jens quick thinking we decided to put BOTH in the same stroller.... it actually worked out!!!

We decided yesterday to take gunner, chompers and our special guest, Belle, to the dog park! The boys LOVE going there but with our schedules and baby ella its been really hard to get there. Not to mention how extremely hot it has been outside. So we sacked up (even though it was ridiculously hot outside) and decided to take the trip. However, there was a problem... how were we going to get 3 dogs, a baby, nick and me all to the dog park! Remember i have a toyota corolla and that seats 5.... well last time i did math, 3 dogs + 1 baby + 2 adults that equals 6! Hmm i think its time for a new car!!!!! Here are some pictures of our wonderful time at the dog park!

Now that Nick has his crazy work schedule we have noticed that we either can not attend some really fun functions or Ella and I will have to attend with out nick. Our family planned a trip to Lake Lopez this past week. I REALLY REALLY wanted to go because I LOVE camping!! Unfortunately Nick had his first shift in the jails and I decided that Ella and I would not attend the Cardona Camping Trip (as well as Ella's 1st camping trip) with out Nick. So with a little convincing from me (batting my eyes) and jen, we convinced Nick to drive up and suprise the family for the day! I was so excited!!!! My cousin kenny and Janell were able to finally meet baby Ella! Thanks family for a great day!!!
