Hello...

With Ella growing up she has decided to do so many big girl things. This next big girl thing might mean trouble when she gets a little bit older. You don't realize how much the kids mimic your every move. So apparently Ella has picked up how to hold a "cell phone". I swear she better not ask for her own cell phone when shes 5!

No More Bottles

Ella has been nursed since the moment she was born. We have NEVER given her any formula... YAY...If i needed one of my sisters to watch her i would put her milk in a bottle. That was the only time she ever took a bottle. So my big girl decided a little while ago (i know im late on posting this) that she was going to be drinking out of a "big girl" cup!

Don't mess with the big girl and her big girl cup!

She was and is so proud of herself!!!!!

PS: SHE has FINALLY said MAMA!!!! I haven't gotten it on video yet so look out for that!

9 Month Check up

Ella's 9 month check up stats....

Weight: 17.9 lbs (25 percentile)

Height: 27 1/4 inches (40 percentile)

Her are some of her favorites and developmental milestones that she has achieved...

Favorite sleeping position: On her belly... we have discovered she is not a fan of sleeping with mommy and daddy. She has to be in her own crib with her teddy bear, stuff doggie, her pacis and her blankets!
Favorite foods: crackers, breads, cheerios, yogurt, pancakes, french toast, pasta, hot dogs, chicken, beef, any fruit and any veggie! YES my daughter can eat!!!!!! She can eat anything even with just her two teeth!
Least favorite foods: She hasnt found anything yet that she doesn't like!
New foods we've tried recently: meats, pasta, and zucchini and so far she likes them all!
Favorite beverages: She still loves her milk, and water! we recently tried watered down apple juice and she loved it! But what ever she drinks she drinks it from a sippy cup! thats right no bottles for her.. she is a big girl who loves her cups!
Favorite new tricks: standing up on anything and then jumping up and down and everything! She so recently discovered the stairs (its so cute when she climbs all the stairs and looks so excited!) She also LOVES pushing and walking with her walkers. I think she will be on the move really soon!
Favorite toys: her bath toys, her paci, anything that makes noise and he like sing a long toys!
Favorite game: playing peek a boo, and making silly sounds.
Favorite person: i have to say she is a mommy's girl... but she does love her daddy since she did say his name first! but he ULTIMATE favorite is ALISON! Man her face just lights up with she sees her cousin!
Favorite sounds:she loves blowing raspberries with her mouth!
Favorite thing to do: play, crawl and get into EVERYTHING she is not supposed to be in!
Favorite creature to stare at: Well considering my daughter is NOISE Y... she stares at everything and anything!

She is such a big girl now it makes me so sad to know that in a few months she will be one!!!!!!! She continues to make nick and i so proud of her! And we just love her to pieces! nick and I LOVE going into her room at night while she is sleeping and just watch her. She looks so peaceful! I wish time would slow down so that she will stay my little princess!
